PHILOSOPHY

My mission as a speech and debate coach is to empower Christian homeschool students to seek the truth, speak the truth, and surrender the results to God’s glory. Grounded in the values of integrity, humility, and excellence, my approach blends rigorous intellectual preparation with a heart for Christ-centered communication.

I believe speech and debate are transformative tools for developing critical thinking, articulate expression, and a deep commitment to biblical principles. My coaching emphasizes:

• Truth-Seeking: Encouraging students to engage with ideas through research, logic, and discernment, always aligning their arguments with biblical truth.

• Effective Communication: Equipping students to articulate their ideas with clarity, confidence, and grace, whether in competitive debate or persuasive speeches.

• Character Development: Fostering humility, respect, and perseverance, trusting that the outcome of every competition serves a higher purpose.

Drawing from my experience, I guide students to strive for excellence while keeping their focus on honoring God. My goal is to mentor young communicators who can navigate the complexities of the world with wisdom and boldly proclaim truth with love.
